WPCA Reflection

On Wednesday we went Rafting down the Arnold first we got picked up by the polytech people then we
drove to the polytech at the polytech we got changed into our wetsuit and thermals. We jumped back into
the vans and drove to the Arnold we got our safety instructions some of the things we learnt were how to
people onto the boat if they fell off and if our instructor yelled to get down we had to get down and hold on
where we had to hold on.

As we got in the water we had to learn how to paddle that was pretty easy then we went downstream on
the first set of rapids we were going about 7 km per hour and then we had started talking about trees
there where beach trees dog trees kahikatea and heaps more than he asked us do you know why the
water brown I said poo as a joke and he said it's the taniwha poo.

Then Reuben our instructor was telling us some funny jokes and then our instructor yelled GET DOWN!
We flew over the rock crash as we hit the water “woohoo” we yelled as we nearly fall out.
