My Running Time Reflection

Every day for the last two years we have been running a 2.8 km run.
At the start of 2017 running was absolute torcher and I was just at the point of some days I was asking for a note for the run (yes a note for the run would sound silly now).  getting times like 22 minutes or 18 minutes and pushing my hardest I would rarely get 12 minutes maybe 11 minutes (no you would have to be dreaming).

2018 was a different story tho that straight line on my graph is 12  11 and 10-minute run as you can see tho I was getting some bad times at the start of the year I snapped out of it and I got heaps of 12 minute runs and term two came and I was getting 11 minute runs then came Cross country I won in our year for the school which made me qualify for the grey district cross country then carrying on for the year I just started to wake up and I am prepared for the run and my stats have been dropping all year my average for the run this year has dropped hugely this year.

The reason why I think I have been getting better times is that I have been biking every day and basketball fitness and everything else I have been doing outside of school and I would like to thank my teachers Mr. McAulay And Mr. S-W And I am sad to see it go

Teachers on strike

The teachers went on strike yesterday to get more pay and get more supplies for school and they need more teachers. I think teachers should get paid more to attract more teachers

Declyn Social Studies

The Vietnam war made up of North Vietnam which was full of allies which included the People’s Republic of China, Soviet Union, Pathet Lao, Khmer Rouge and North Korea.

As South Vietnam which was full of anti-communist countries and members of the South East Asia Treaty Organization which included the United States, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Khmer Republic, Kingdom of Laos and Republic of China and with over 58,000 casualties and at least 200 self-inflicted.

Chess Tournament

Leaving the school at 9:00 to go to the chess tournament my first opponent was Lochie 4 move checkmate me in less than 30 second “it was very fun” then I got the bye so it was quite nice I got to eat food yum food then I was up against a kid from saint pats I tied with them they were quite a hard opponent and they had a higher ranking than me then I vs a kid from Karoro school I won by 4 move checkmate and I got a badge and I was really proud of myself and I vs someone from Karoro and I lost I had a great day.

No more mining on conservation land declyn

(In my opinion mining should not be banned but I have to put up with This is why mining should be banned. When you use your big industrial machines which sends smoke up in the air and all its doing is making more coal and that kills the ozone makes a huge hole in the sky and burns everyone.)

Back to the serious side of stuff the west coast has been losing heaps of animals due to global warming global warming is caused by big machine now an animals like skinks and lizards are getting washed out to sea and die its bad I was reading the newspaper (yep I was reading the newspaper) and it said greymouth skink was moving to an auckland zoo because the dont have much of a population left so they had to go.

Using basic python syntax

Today we learned to use python basic syntax and how to use trinket. Trinket is a fun site to go on it helps you learn. and to use JavaScript syntax and use things like parentheses and semicolon and case sensitive. in python you don`t use semicolons like you would use in JavaScript and in trinket we can change the color and speed and the size of the circle and what it says once you have finished like i changed mine to say lets learn dogs
